P R O F I L E 1950年京都市生まれ '80〜'90年アメリカニューヨーク、ワシントンの新聞社で電子製版の仕事をしながらアメリカのクラフトショーに参加、その際に西洋式の木工ロクロに出会う。帰国後 '95年からプロ作家活動を始める。 現在、米国木工ロクロ協会会員、西洋木工ロクロ協会主宰、木工ロクロ教室・螺鈿漆教室主宰。作品作りをしながら、西洋木工ロクロの普及活動なども行っている。 He was born in Kyoto, 1950 '80〜'90, He was working for newspaper company as a computer reprographic in New York and Washington D.C. He is spreading western style wood turning while making original works.
